Officers from the Yonkers Police Department were dispatched to a Riverdale Avenue apartment building at approximately 3:20 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, where there was a report of two victims who had suffered stab wounds.
Upon arrival, officers found the two boys, both from Yonkers, who had been stabbed in the torso outside the building.
Yonkers Police Det. Sgt. Dean Politopoulos said that the two were taken to a local hospital, with one in critical condition and the other in stable conditions.
The preliminary investigation found that the stabbings occurred during a group fight involving multiple individuals. Detectives are actively investigating the incident and have recovered a weapon.
